Led by CPX International President and well-known cardiologist Professor Piergiuseppe Agostoni, this course offered hands-on training and insights directly from CPET experts.
Held from October 9 to 11 at the Centro Cardiologico Monzino in Milan, Italy, this year’s practicum welcomed over 100 participants eager to strengthen their skills in this advanced diagnostic tool. Participants explored many ways to use CPET in medicine, such as finding out why patients struggle with exercise, assessing risks before surgery, determining long-term health risks, and monitoring treatment progress.
CPET is the gold standard for measuring exercise ability, as well as a vital tool for improving health outcomes in fields like cardiology, lung care, and surgery preparation. By attending, participants joined a global community focused on improving patient care with evidence-based tools, gaining practical skills to set them apart. The European Practicum on Clinical Exercise Testing continues to be a key event for anyone dedicated to excellence in CPET and patient-centered care.
