The SCHILLER Academy has just published a video on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The video is available in three languages, all of which can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
In the video, viewers learn what the heart does, when the brain begins to suffer damage in the event of cardiac arrest without acting first aiders, what the aims of CPR are and how to perform it correctly, and what mistakes can be made. To summarize the video:
- Keep blood moving to the brain and heart during cardiac arrest
- Push hard
- Push quickly
- Ribs can break
- Continue performing CPR until an AED is deployed and follow its instructions until the emergency services arrive
The videos are available here in English, German and French.
